So nice to meet all of you. Thank you soooo much for joining my forum.... Crochet is my newest passion. It "hooked" me this spring and I've really come to enjoy it!! I love the open lace look. I love crocheting sport weight yarns...particularly Lorna's Laces Shepherd Sport!! www.yarn-store.com/lornas-laces-shepherd-sport-yarn.htmlTo me, that my favorite weight to crochet.

I joined a couple of days ago but haven't had time to post. I have had those last minute things to finish for Christmas and just minutes ago finished the very last thing. Well it was one of those last things that was a because I saw it and it was cute.
My name is Mary Jeanne, go by MaryJeanne. I am a wife, mother, grandmother. I work part time as a bookkeeper, and I craft. I crochet, needle knit, tat, machine knit, loom knit, macrame, and have other little bits I like to do from time to time.
For the last few months I have just been involved with crochet. I made the Drop In the Pond afghan and did matching pillow covers for a wedding gift, though I did enlarge the afghan. Since the beginning of Sept I have been working on mostly small crocheted afghans for my six grandson's for Christmas. I also made an alien, a little security blanket with a mouse head in the center, and now a little dragon for my youngest grandson who is only a year old.
So now I am taking a few moments to introduce myself.

Thanks for the welcome. I expect that with Christmas burn out that the boards won't pick up for a week or so then will get busy. I made one hat since finishing the last Christmas present (and that was Wed), and then went to making yo yo's with left over yarn. My stash of these grows slowly and is only now approaching 300.

Hello, my name is Nancy, I love to crochet. Recently I made a couple of baby blankets for a neighbor and a friend who had babies. I like to make things and give them away. My neighbor asked me if I ever thought of selling anything I make I laughed. Anyways, I am from NY, married to my hubby for 29 yrs, 2 daughters, 6 grand kids, and 1 cat.

Hiyas! My name is Mary and I started crocheting when I was 5? Self-taught, but working 2 full time jobs now it's hard to really find time, my main thing was afghans, but now I am starting to do a little thread. I have done 2 doilies a while back, but now am itching to crochet more, time is my enemy on that one, but I play catch up on forums at breaks and all. Have also done looming too, tried hand knitting but can't get my hands to work right on that, lol!

Hi & Happy New Year! I'm Ann & I've been crocheting for a few years now. My most recent projects have been a stethoscope sweater, baby afghan & some dishcloths. Crochet helps me relax. :-)
